Iranian Forces State Strike on American Facility in Bahrain, During Regional Military Operations.
Iranian forces say they have struck a US naval base in Manama, as Iran launched strikes across the region in response for a large-scale and continuing assault targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an vicinity in the area of the headquarters of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any damage is not yet known and the US has remained silent.
Regional Interceptions
In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - all home to American military installations - reported they have intercepted missiles in their air space.
In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence stated it had intercepted a number of projectiles apparently targeting the Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American base in the Middle East.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was striking US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the attack on Iran carried out by the US and Israel on Saturday.
That preceding assault - executed at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far focused on areas associated with the Iranian leadership, with US President Donald Trump encouraging the people of Iran to rise up against the regime.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded nationwide after the Israeli military stated it had detected an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The defence ministry of the United Arab Emirates announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems dealt with the projectiles with high efficiency and destroyed a series of missiles," the statement continued.
Officials reported missile fragments landed in a neighborhood in the capital, causing some material damage and fatalities.
The United States Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
